These regulations include legal requirements, operational restrictions, packaging instructions, marking, labelling, and documentation to ensure the safe transportation of these goods. AIMS is accredited as an Aviation Training Organisation (ATO) to offer the course below.

Dangerous Goods Training

Categories (Cat) 1-12

programs on offer are two-fold in nature, offering refresher courses on one hand and accredited certificate and Diploma qualifications on a medium to long term basis.

▪ Shippers and persons undertaking the responsibility of Shippers.
▪ Packers.
▪ Staff of freight forwarders involved in processing dangerous goods.
▪ Staff of freight forwarders involved in processing cargo or mail (other than dangerous goods).
▪ Staff of freight forwarders involved in handling, storage and loading of cargo or mail.
▪ Operators and ground handling agent staff accepting dangerous goods. (other than dangerous goods).
▪ Operators and ground handling agent staff accepting cargo or mail (other than dangerous goods).
▪ Operators and ground handling agent staff involved in the handling, storage and loading of cargo or mail and baggage.
▪ Passenger Handling
▪ Flight crew members, loadmasters, load planners, and flight operations officers’/flight dispatchers.
▪ Crew members, other than flight crew members.
▪ Security staff who are involved with the screening of passengers and crew and their baggage and cargo or mail. e.g. security screeners, their supervisors, etc.
